History
The Conference has a long and proud history that has been guided by leaders in the fields of radio and environmental chemistry. Over the past 55 years, the Conference has also been known as:
- Annual Bioassay and Analytical Chemistry Conference,
- Annual Conference on Bioassay, Analytical, and Environmental Radiochemistry,
- Annual Radiochemical Measurements Conference, and
- Annual Radiobioassay and Radiochemistry Measurements Conference
Scientists from federal, state, and commercial laboratories, representatives from various federal and state regulatory agencies, and instrumentation and service vendors attend and support the Conference. The hosting of the meetings is voluntary and has been sponsored by many different organizations.
